Andrew Mwenda talks his friendship with Museveni, Kagame and Muhoozi

About 14 years ago, Andrew Mwenda was rallying Ugandans to stand up and fight the Museveni dynasty. He is the chief architect of a scheme that is positioning Gen. Muhoozi Kainuragaba to succeed his father, Yoweri Museveni who has been in power since 1986.

In a two-hour interview that takes place in two shifts in different venues that are 220 miles apart, Mwenda discusses his evolution, and relationship with power centres in Rwanda and Uganda. He hints at how Muhoozi will govern Uganda. He lambasts Museveni and the Western world but is full of praise for Rwanda’s Paul Kagame.
